ZAEVI

Your email and the waitlist

You gave us an email address to join the Zaevi beta. This page says what happens to it, and it covers only that. Zaevi itself isn’t open to the public yet. A full privacy policy will be published before it is.

Last updated 11 September 2026.

Who holds it

Cinx Leon, in the Netherlands. Not a company: no business is registered yet, so the person responsible is an individual, and saying so is more useful to you than a placeholder name would be.

Write to privacy@zaevi.app about anything on this page. We answer within a month, which is the deadline the law sets.

What we collect

Your email address. Which page you submitted it from, and what language that page was in.

That is the whole list. Not your IP address, not your browser, not where you came from, not your name. We would rather not hold something than hold it carefully.

What it is for

Emailing you when a beta place opens. That is the only use. No newsletter, no marketing, no selling it, no passing it to anyone.

Why we are allowed to

Your consent, which you gave by typing the address and pressing the button underneath a note saying what it was for. You can take that back whenever you like and we will delete the address.

Who else sees it

Supabase, which stores it in a database in Ireland, and Vercel, which hosts the page you typed it into. Both act on our instructions under a data processing agreement. Nobody else.

Both are US companies, so their staff may reach the data while supporting the service. That is covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses in their agreements with us.

How long we keep it

Until the beta ends, or until you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first. There is no fixed number of days because there is no honest one: we do not know yet when places will free up.

One detail rather than a round number. We keep encrypted backups for 7 days. A backup made just before a deletion still contains the address, so it can take up to a week for the last copy to age out. We do not restore backups to undo deletions.

What you can ask for

To see what we hold, correct it, delete it, have it sent to you in a portable form, or withdraw your consent. Email privacy@zaevi.app and it is done.

If you think we have handled it badly, tell us first, because we would rather fix it. You also have the right to complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or to the authority where you live.
